Hi 👋🏻
Travelling the world in the cheapest way possible is a dream for us, but how long would you work on optimising your stay, transport or anything else?
How about I give you a better way of travelling almost without money?
Content creation
See, you’ve already been travelling, so when you’re travelling, if you can document your travel journey after a certain time, you’ll start attracting a lot of audience who’d be interested in seeing what you do.
And more engaged followers means more trust, and that will lead you to grab the attention of brands or homestays.
Who’ll pay you to promote their service or product, and the homestays will let you stay for free, including food. And the more followers you’ve, the more money you’ll make, and you’ll be able to travel for almost free.
How to get started?
As I’ve mentioned, you don’t need to know anything technical, nor do you need fancy gear.
Just record your travel journey in your mobile, like the way we write journals. And upload the video to your Instagram account and YouTube channel.
Record where you stayed, what you ate, and how you moved around.
Over time, you’ll start getting new followers.
How often should you post
This is not a matter of discussion in the initial days. Post as much as you can. Because until and unless you post a lot, you won’t be able to track what is working for you and what is not.
So there is no concrete answer for it, just play the volume game. Later, you’ll be able to decide it yourself.
The only thing to remember
Nothing happens overnight, that’s why I didn’t give you a fixed timing, your content quality, your way of sharing and your personality, everything matters. If you chase perfection and become impatient, then nothing will happen.
How brands actually notice you
You do not need thousands of followers for brands to notice you.
Brands look for three things:
Are you already travelling?
Do you show their kind of audience?
Do people engage with what you post?
Even a small account with good travel content gets noticed faster than a big account with random posts.
But,
Do not tag brands in every post.
Do not ask for free stays immediately.
Do not copy other creators’ styles.
Focus on being yourself.
Thank you for checking today’s edition. I’ll see you on Thursday.
