Hi 👋🏻

I have travelled to a lot of places so far, and I found out this hack is the best way to save a lot of money while you accomplish the task.

But before I go ahead, how was your week? Where did you travel or discover?

Please share with me.

Night bus

Here is why night buses save money and when they actually make sense.

You replace a hotel night. A night bus covers two costs with one payment.

You pay for transport. You also avoid paying for a stay that night.

Even a basic hotel or hostel costs more than the difference between a day bus and a night bus. Over a long trip, skipping a few hotel nights saves a noticeable amount.

Night buses move while you rest. Instead of spending daytime hours travelling and then paying for a stay at night, you reach the next city in the morning.

That gives you a full day without extra cost.

Transition expenses

Travel days are expensive days for food and Local transport.

Night buses reduce this because you usually arrive early and can start the day without paying for another night.

They work best for medium distances. But night buses are ideal for routes that take 6 to 10 hours.

Shorter routes are not worth it. Longer routes will make you uncomfortable over time.

This distance range is where night buses save money.

But don’t forget this

If your priority is comfort, night buses may not be for you. If your priority is keeping daily costs low, they work very well.

As a budget traveller use night buses to control accommodation spend.

Things to keep in mind:

  • Always check the seat type. Recliner or sleeper seats matter a lot.

  • Check the arrival time. Early morning arrivals work best.

  • Check the safety reviews of the operator.

Avoid routes with frequent night stops. If you can’t tick off, then don’t go with that bus service. Choose any other bus service.

Thank you!

Travelling overnight is one of the simplest ways I’ve ever used to spend less and skip the night's stay.

You should give it a try, and you’ll never regret it.

I’ll see you on Tuesday. Till then, keep travelling, keep enjoying your life.

See ya!
