Most of the travellers travel for the sake of it. But if you really want to experience travel in the best possible way, then you have to be intentional about it.
And in order to be intentional, all you need to do is carry a notebook. Yes, a goddam simple notebook.
You do not need to write anything big, just things that you experienced from your day.
When you do this, you will notice more around you. You will see people, sounds, weather, and different moments better because you are not always on your phone.
You will also remember your trip better. Because writing helps you slow down and see what is happening around you!
It also makes your mind feel light. Instead of keeping everything in your head, you just write it and move on.
At first, it may feel a bit different because most people are used to using their phones all the time. But slowly, it feels normal.
Travel will be enjoyable and simple. It becomes more about what you saw and felt, not just the place you visited.
That is all a notebook does. It changes how you pay attention.
